Urban Land Institute

ULI is an organization of practicing land use professionals and community leaders. On a global scale, ULI has more than 30,000 members.  The mission of the Urban Land Institute is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.

As a nonpartisan organization, ULI has long been recognized as one of America’s most respected and widely quoted sources of objective information on urban planning, growth and development.

Clyde Jackson has held several positions within the national ULI organization, most recently being asked to chair the Student Housing Product Council.

Michael Jackson is a member of the Small Scale Development Council, which he previously chaired for two years.

Christopher Jackson is a member of the Community Development Council where he serves on leadership as Vice Chair.

ULI North Texas carries forth that mission by serving the North Texas Metropolitan Area’s public and private sectors with pragmatic land use expertise and education.  With almost 1,000 members, ULI North Texas provides quality programming with a wide array of local and national experts at monthly events, as well as networking opportunities for the North Texas development community.

Michael Jackson is currently the Chairman of the ULI North Texas District Council, and is a member of the Management Committee.
