West Tract
The West Tract (now Devonshire) – Kaufman County, Texas. The acquisition of this 929 acre tract from the West Foundation of Wichita Falls, Texas occurred in 2004. After acquisition, a master plan was developed, three Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) were formed and water and sanitary sewer service agreements were successfully negotiated and secured. During a time of rapid expansion of the housing market and demand for entitled master-planned communities, Wynne/Jackson elected to sell the property when approached by a major D/FW developer of master-planned communities. A sale to Hanover Property Company was finalized in 2006. Hanover is now under construction with development of the project.
