Live Oak Creek, formerly The Haywire Ranch, consists of approximately 1400 undeveloped acres of heavily wooded areas and rolling terrain with two significant lakes bounded by a creek. Wynne/Jackson has acquired 260 acres at the front door of the property for Phase I of the development and has an option on the remaining acreage. The property has been owned by a well known Fort Worth family since the 1920’s. Live Oak Creek is located in the growing West Fort Worth market on the west side of the D/FW Metroplex. The site is located outside of the city limits of Fort Worth, but within the Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the City of Fort Worth in Tarrant County. Fort Worth has become an extremely active market for new homes, one of the top markets in the Metroplex. Wynne/Jackson’s focus is to create a master-planned community with a higher level of amenities and a mixture of lot sizes and home prices.
The first phase of 240 lots is currently under construction with completion targeted for 2008.
