In his long tenure in real estate (Since 1985 with Wynne/Jackson), Mr. Murphy has participated in development, asset and property management, consulting, leasing and brokerage activities for over $2.0 billion in real estate projects. Projects have consisted of approximately 17,000 acres of residential and master-planned developments, 12,000 residential lots, 10,000 apartment and condominium units, 4.5 million square feet of office and retail developments, 10 hotels, and numerous mini-storage facilities, marinas and golf courses.

Mr. Murphy has led the Wynne/Jackson team on its numerous engagements with various institutions, municipalities, and family offices over many years. Mr. Murphy presently operates the development, special districts, and project consulting areas for the company in addition to his role as Chief Operating/Financial Officer.

Mr. Murphy is a 1981 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Immediately upon graduation, Mr. Murphy passed all parts of the Certified Public Accounts exam.  In addition to his CPA license, Mr. Murphy is a licensed real estate broker in both Texas and Oklahoma.  He has extensive experience in the creation and operation of special districts such as TIFs, MUDs, and PIDs.  Mr. Murphy presently serves on the Leadership Council along with the Land Development and Audit Committees for the National Association of Homebuilders, is a Life Director for the Texas Association of Builders as well as the Dallas Builders Association. Mr. Murphy is also a Past President of the Dallas Builders Association and a founding member of the Land Developers Council for the Texas Association of Builders.
