Grand Peninsula - Grand Prairie, Texas. This project is a 400+ acre masterplanned community located on the Estes Peninsula on Joe Pool Lake. Grand Peninsula is marketed as a masterplanned development with a variety of home and lot sizes, neighborhood retail, elementary school, and amenity centers. The plan for the project consists of approximately 1,300 lots in seven villages. Four lot sizes exists within the villages to allow for multiple products and housing prices. The lot sizes are 50x120, 60x120, 75x120, 90x120. Additional sites have been designed for retail, day care, and fire station/emergency service. Builders in the project include David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Goodman Family of Builders, Highland Homes, and Sotheby Homes. Build out of all lots will occur in Mid–2007.
